Good for you and the environment! We took fibers leftover from making other yarns- the soft too-light fluff, the bits that otherwise would have been lost to the waste stream - and made this handy, durable, and surprisingly soft high quality yarn. We call this 85% recycled cotton/15% recycled polyester blend ″clean cotton″ because it's a yarn you can feel good about using. Tension/Gauge is 18 stitches=4" on 4.5 mm/US 7 needle. 85% Recycled cotton & 15% Polyester. Machine wash and dry. 55 grams/1.94 ounces with 88 meters/96 yards per ball.
